I was on campus last Monday finishing up some power point details with my group when Channel 4 News interviewed myself and my friend Jason about our response to the tuition raise. UNR decided that 5% of our tuition hike would be set aside for financial aid - mostly given to those already receiving aid.
Perhaps needless to say, I ripped UNR a new a-hole.
What a horrible policy.
Aside from the topic it was funny to be on the nightly news. I didn't tell anyone because I didn't know if it would make it to air, but shortly after 6 o'clock I got several texts from people who had seen me on the news. I was surprised, but thought it was funny.
Only in Reno would something like that make it to air!! hehe.
