My dad left his home in Key West today to come out and babysit me for a week after surgery.... just as Hurricane Ike is upgraded to a cat 5 and they are doing mandatory evac's of the Florida Keys.
I'm glad he'll be safe and sound here in Reno with us instead of trying to get out along with everybody else, or being stubborn enough to stay through it.
Weird how a bad thing can wind up being so good.
I'll keep everyone in my thoughts and hope for their safety through this.
