Surgery and Recovery.

So, here's what I did last week.

Hospital. Surgery.

IV Fluids pre and post op.

Crashed on the couch or the bed and slept about 22 hours a day.

Laid on the couch and chatted with my Dad who came out for a week and a half to escape Hurricane Ike and play nurse... and my bro who came up for the weekend to harass me  - I mean share some love! haha. Oh, big brothers.

Weird how my surgery became an awesome excuse to see my Dad and brother for an unexpected visit. 

I'm up and moving around more than I was last week, but per my check up with the surgeon it could be at least 2 more weeks before i'm really bad up to snuff. In the meantime, i'm missing the first exam of the semester in each of my classes (O-Chem, Physics and Bio) and laying on the couch all day feeling like crap.

So much fun.

No wonder I never did this sooner.

I want to go outside! Hell, I even want to go back to school... I just want to feel better.... NOW!!
