Family visit

It's been crazy since we got home from Spring Break and my postings

have been delayed.

So here's a brief photo recap of the weekend after Spring Break.

Came home from DL (Disneyland) ENGAGED!! 

My dad flew in from Key West and my sis, bro and my bro's fiance drove up from

the Bay Area.

Had a few meals. Hung out. Saw a movie. Celebrated the engagement with some champagne!

Before my siblings and their significant others took off we had a huge breakfast at home (graham cracker waffles, blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon, the whole nine!!) and snapped a few pictures.

After the siblings left my Dad, Nicole and I went to see an Alice in Wonderland 

ballet performance. After the ballet we had dinner with my Dad and got ready for school to begin again the next day.

My dad stayed a few more days into the week and we caught up with Brittney and had a few drinks and then he took off back for sunny, tropical Key West and away from cold and snowy Reno. 

Took my sib's 7 hours to get home due to snow and accidents. HORRIBLE. In nice weather it's 4 hours from Reno - San Jose. Faster if i'm driving. LOL.

It was a GREAT visit and such a FANTASTIC way to celebrate our engagement. Everyone, family and friends, has been amazing and super supportive. We received our first congrats cards (Lauren's won - best card EVER!) and had a chance to enjoy being newly engaged before we were back in the chaos of real life!
