Movie Review - Love Happens.

I haven't actually posted a movie review in quite awhile but after watching this movie last night I feel quite compelled to share my thoughts.

It's been awhile since i've come across a movie that within a few minutes has me crying... and not crying because the movie is horrible! haha. Which has happened a few times in recent months.

This movie was just released on DVD and without giving too much away here's a VERY brief synopsis.
Aaron Eckhart is a self- help author holding a seminar in Seattle when he meets Jennifer Aniston, a florist who after a bad relationship has sworn off new relationships. They quickly develop a friendship / relationship that helps each of them grow and move on from the things that haunt them.

First of all - it occurs in Seattle. After visiting Seattle last summer and falling in love with it seeing it in the movie was a treat. Aside from the location, Jennifer Aniston, as always, is amazing. She actually isn't in the movie alot. She's the main actress but the movie mostly focuses on Aaron Eckhart (Burke Ryan).

Basically, Burke practices NOTHING that he preaches. That's why I love this movie so much. He's the ultimate motivator but his life is a wreck.

It shows the daily struggle / journey that the loss of a loved one causes... and no matter how much time, how hard those wounds are to heal.

Time doesn't always mend everything - sometimes it takes someone on the outside to help you remind you to live life to the fullest.

If you can handle the sad and the schmuck, RENT THIS MOVIE.
