Years ago the world met this little face...
Knut, the Polar Bear, resident of the Berlin Zoo.
In two weeks (or so) we were headed to the Berlin Zoo so I could finally see the adorable face i'd watched grow up for 4 years.
And today, out of the blue, he passed away suddenly at the tender age of 4 years old.
Polar bears typically live 15-20 years in captivity, so this is an unexpected and very sad day.

RIP Little Knut... you were beloved by many and will be missed by all.
